What is a Christian Fundamentalist?

A Christian Fundamentalist believes:

There are no errors whatsoever in the Bible, including historical, scientific, and religious;

and it must be read as the literal, verbally inspired words of God.

That the Bible must be taken literally in every possible case,

including the creation of the universe in six literal 24 hour days.

That the omnipotent God of the entire cosmos chose one tiny tribe of people, Israel, to grant

spiritual revelation and salvation, and all others were submitted to defeat, cruelty, subjugation, and finally, eternal punishment.

That this God demanded the sacrifice of innocent animals to pay for the sins of the people.

That this God punished children for the sins of their parents.

That this God ultimately demanded a human sacrifice, Jesus of Nazareth, to appease his anger and pay the demanded price for sin.

That  this God created a literal, burning, eternal hell where all people who, for whatever reason, (including ignorance)

do not accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior will be eternally punished in unspeakable torture for ever and ever.
